Position Summary

This outstanding Melbourne based role is ideal for an experienced technical consultant with a networking and VOIP focus.  The ideal candidate should display a passion for leading the development of Network consulting services, and can expect ample opportunities for advancement, as well as a generous bonus program.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Consult with clients and staff to scope, design, implement, and support ICT projects.
  • Provide onsite pre and post sales consulting services, remote support for applications, networks and project delivery of associated ICT infrastructure.
  • Support internal AVTech networking infrastructure firmware (switches, firewalls, phone systems, etc) and other key technologies, including:
    • Networking (Switching, Routing, Security, Firewalls, WANs, Wireless);
    • IP telephony (Cisco Call Manager);

Requirements

  • CCNP, CCDA or CCIE/HP ASE Certified highly regarded.
  • 5+ years experience in design, implementation, and deployment of LAN and WAN technologies, and IP telephony.
  • Confident and authoritative in presenting solutions to customers and staff.
  • Sound knowledge of VOIP, Switching, Routing, Firewall, WAN, and Wireless technologies.
  • Experience utilising following vendors: Cisco, HP, Microsoft, CheckPoint, BlueCoat, Riverbed, Aruba, Watchguard, Exinda.
