Position Description
Our growing Shanghai office has positions available for Sales Consultants with excellent communication skills, excellent customer service skills, and willing to learn about technology and sales. Using the telephone and internet, you'll contact selected customers in a designated market or accounts area, selling them AVTech solutions (hardware, software and services) to meet set targets. You'll also generate leads for our outside sales team. Initially working under the guidance of your sales manager and other sales consultants, you'll become increasingly independent and pro-active as you move up the scale.
Responsibilities
To help deliver AVTech’s strategy the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Reporting to the Sales Manager;
- Work with the outside sales team and Senior consultants on sales opportunities;
- Communicate and coordinate with clients, vendors and suppliers to achieve the best outcome;
- Account management, presales and consulting with clients about hardware/software/services needs;
- Placing orders with suppliers and updating clients;
- Maintain a high level of customer service, both internally and externally;
- First point of contact for all incoming enquiries;
- Perform lead generation activities as directed.
Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Personality Attributes

- Skills & Experience
- Interns, graduates and experienced people can apply;
- Excellent presentation, time management, and communications skills in English & Chinese;
- Ability to open conversations and close deals;
- Track record of target achievement would be an advantage;
- Demonstrable ability to work in fast changing environments;
- Proactive and team oriented;
- Knowledgeable in general ICT hardware, software and networking;
- Basic knowledge of office applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Windows.
- Qualifications
- Under-graduates or graduates with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline;
- Other known industry qualifications and certifications would be an advantage;
- Customer service and/or marketing experience would be an advantage.

- Self motivated and willing to work outside the normal business working hours to meet business and client expectations;
- A positive, results oriented and customer focused attitude;
- A desire to take responsibility and ownership to see actions/issues through to completion;
