Position Description

Our HCMC and Hanoi offices each have a position available for an experienced business development (sales hunter) with excellent communication skills, excellent ‘hunting’ skills and solid network with foreign customers/multinational companies in Vietnam.

Responsibilities

To help deliver AVTech’s strategy the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reporting to the Sales Manager, Vietnam;
  • Develop and ‘hunt’ for new and strategic client opportunities as per the company objectives and directives;
  • Dynamic and able to focus on small, medium and large opportunities;
  • Achieve quarterly sales targets;
  • Manage new and existing client accounts with inside sales support;
  • Learning, understanding and embracing AVTech’s core solution portfolio and technology strengths;
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction;
  • Accountable for reducing business risk from day to day activities;
  • Able to communicate affectively between internal departments, clients and partners;
  • Effective utilisation of internal Sales Consultants (inside sales support staff);
  • Marketing coordination and business development with your Sales Consultants;
  • Travelling outside of HCMC, Hanoi, and Vietnam when required.

Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Personality Attributes

To help deliver AVTech’s strategy the successful candidate MUST HAVE the following skills, experience, qualifications and personality attributes:

  • Skills & Experience
    • Have strong network with foreign customers/multinational companies in Vietnam;
    • Experience with foreign working culture;
    • Minimum of 3 years corporate working experience with similar responsibilities;
    • Able to demonstrate a track record in sales target achievement;
    • Manage and deliver a high level of client satisfaction (‘customer service’) into all client accounts;
    • Excellent communication and written skills in Vietnamese and English;
    • Basic knowledge of office applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Windows.
       
  • Qualifications
    • Candidates with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline;
    • Other known industry qualifications and certifications would be an advantage.

  • Personality Attributes
    • Professionally presented;
    • Self motivated and willing to work outside the normal business working hours to meet business and client expectations;
    • A positive, results oriented and customer focused attitude;
    • A desire to take responsibility and ownership to see actions/issues through to completion;
    • The ability to adapt to a changing environment that requires proactive and innovative solutions.
