Position Description

Our Ho Chi Minh City office has a position available for a Network/Unified Communications Consultant (CCIE, CCVP) with experienced in network security, routing switching, wireless, Cisco Unified Communications, good communication skills and a flair for creative solutions. The ideal candidate should display passion for leading further development of AVTech’s network consulting service, and can expect ample opportunities for advancement, as well as a generous bonus program.

Responsibilities

To help deliver AVTech’s strategy the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Provide presales support for Account Managers, present solutions, and deliver successful outcomes on project opportunities;
  • Deliver high quality solutions to clients in response to varying business requirements;
  • Identify potential IT opportunities back to internal team(s);
  • Project design, planning, and implementation;
  • Provide escalated support (routing, switching, UC, network security) onsite and remotely;
  • Diagnose, resolve, escalate, follow-up and complete client IT issues. Liaise with Services Australia when required;
  • Working on projects with AVTech Australia and AVTech China;
  • Communicate with third parties (e.g. Internet Service Providers and Hardware/Software Vendors);
  • Understand and comply internal service desk systems, policies, procedures and work instructions to ensure continuous improvement in professional services;
  • Travel locally, domestically and internationally.

Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Personality Attributes

To help deliver AVTech’s strategy the successful candidate MUST HAVE the following skills, experience, qualifications and personality attributes:

  • Skills & Experiences
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in consulting, designing, planning and implementing network security, routing, switching, and unified communication in a large network environment;
    • Ideal technical experience:
      • Cisco routing, switching;
      • Cisco Unified Communication;
      • Wireless Network: Cisco, Motorola;
      • IDS/IPS : Tipping Point, McAfee, Cisco;
      • Security Appliance : Cisco ASA, Cisco Ironport, BlueCoat, McAfee, F5, Checkpoint, Juniper;
      • Good knowledge of Enterprise Systems (Windows Active Directory, Mail systems, Backup etc.) is an advantage.
    • Excellent communication skills in both Vietnamese and English (speaking, listening, reading and writing);
    • High degree of creativity and judgment to identify and solve complex problems;
    • Good presentation skills and ability to provide pre- sales and post sales services and support;
    • Good written and project documentation skills;
    • Good time management skills;
    • Technical leadership experience is an advantage.
       
  • Qualifications
    • Candidates with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline;
    • Cisco certification CCIE and CCVP;
    • Other major industry certifications in Network, Security and Unified Communication would be an advantage.
