Policies and Procedures Management

Accessing organisations information is done both manually and automatically; both of these affect organisations IT Security.  AVTech provides an independent and unbiased assessment of organisations IT Security and general Security risks for both an organisations manual and automatic procedures.  Traditional manual procedures have caused higher rates of error; by implementing and enforcing automatic functions an organisation is able to reduce this risk.  The policies and procedures developed by AVTech are specific to the appropriate security level required by an organisation.

Access Management

Access management is setting and enforcing rules for users access to information and applications within an organisations internal and external network.  AVTech enforces rules to ensure that connectivity both internally and externally is always 100% secure.

Identity Management

Intrusion Prevention

An Intrusion Prevention system has many functions.  It acts like an alarm and immediately informs an organisation if their network is under attack.  It monitors and will analyse user and system activities, analyse system configurations and vulnerabilities and track user policy violations.  It will then report and resolve on all aspects of security intrusions.

Content Filtering

The ability to control content entering or leaving your organisation by e-mail, and the content that users can access on the Internet needs to have a policy developed, implemented and enforced so that is it an integral part of an organisations security infrastructure. 
An organisation needs to ensure that the data entering or leaving their organisation is transmitted in a secure manner whilst ensuring that viruses and Spam mail are avoided, as well as offensive content filtered.
