Sales Executive - Sydney

Position Description

Our new Sydney office has a position available for a Senior Sales Executive who has excellent relationship skills and can demonstrate an outstanding track record in IT solution sales. This fast paced role requires a dynamic hunter who has extensive experience in generating new business in the corporate and/or government sectors.

Responsibilities

To help deliver AVTech’s strategy the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Achieving monthly and quarterly targets on gross profit (GP) as set by the Sales Manager;
• Focusing on large and/or strategic client opportunities as directed by the Sales Manager;
• Developing and hunting for new client opportunities;
• Ensuring client satisfaction and minimising risk to AVTech.

Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Personality Attributes

To help deliver AVTech’s strategy the successful candidate MUST HAVE the following skills, experience, qualifications and personality attributes:

• Skills & Experiences
  • Demonstrable track record in IT solution sales;
  • A solid client network in Sydney;
  • Appropriate levels of knowledge, or the ability to develop appropriate levels of knowledge, in the IT services and solutions sector as well as AVTech’s focus vendors;
  • Excellent communication and written skills;
  • Professional presentation skills;
  • Efficient time management skills;

• Qualifications
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or proven levels of education;

• Personality Attributes
  • A positive, results orientated and customer focused attitude;
  • Must be self motivated and willing to work outside or normal business working hours to meet business and client expectations;
  • Must be able to work with all departments of AVTech including Sales, Solutions and Finance;
  • A desire to take responsibility and ownership to see actions/issues through to completion;
  • The ability to adapt to a changing environment that requires proactive and innovative solutions;
  • A flexible attitude.
